─▷ SOVEREIGN ◁─
The leader of all three packs, leader of leaders! Blessed by the Void and touched by the unknown!
The Sovereign is expected to walk down into the Void, if they do not come back alive, they are deemed unworthy of their position. The Sovereign handles diplomatic matters between each pack, leads battles, and keeps the peace in times of trial and struggle. They live within the Auraetes, and are deemed Immortal by the public. It's unknown how Sovereigns die, as they typically disappear during one of their meetings with the Void, the packs interpret this as the Void deciding it's their time.

─▷ OVERLORD ◁─
The Sovereign's right-hand-wolf and the leader of all the Generals, they go everywhere with the Sovereign, and protect them with their own life. The Overlord is the only non-blessed wolf who gets to be within the Void, as they must escort the Sovereign to the edge of the Void, due to this they are still considered blessed. The Overlord keeps tabs on the prey and patrols of the three packs and instructs Generals based on the information they have on how to hunt and patrol most effectively depending on the movements of the herds and the existence of outsiders along the many borders.

─▷ SHAMAN ◁─
The leader of the Healers, and the only wolf aside from the Sovereign who gets to enter the Void, though it's up to them, it's not seen as bad if a Shaman doesn't want to enter the Void, as it's energy is extremely overwhelming and can be tiring. Shamans are incredibly skilled at herbal alchemy, able to make incredibly in-depth concoctions to cure most ailments. Despite the stereotype the name implies, Shamans do not have to be old or mystical, they're just a Healer who the current Sovereign decides would be really good to have on their personal council. They can also preform surgeries.

─▷ MENDER ◁─
A healer, a doctor, and a wonderful teacher. Menders are skilled in the art of treating wounds, illnesses, and of course, mental health issues as well! Unlike your typical healer, Menders also act as the pack's local psychologist, and their input to helping others deal with the physical and cognitive struggles of surviving in the desolate and dangerous wilderness holds the packs together. Menders are typically kind, patient, and open-minded wolves, those who are closed off will not serve this role well. It's because of their absolutely incredible emotional intelligence that Menders are chosen for Commander more often than Generals.

─▷ ARCHIVIST ◁─
The bookkeeper of the packs, the Archivist is a knowledgeable wolf who knows the majority of the Calling Packs' history, and knows every law word by word. Whenever a litter of pups reaches 3 months of age, the Archivist must go and teach them about the laws, ranks, and history of the packs. Outside of educating the little ones, the Archivist spends most of their time teaching the Initiates how to adjust to this more diverse and intricate lifestyle.

─▷ INITIATE ◁─
Wolves who are new to these packs. They are not yet considered true pack members as they have yet to prove themselves as an adequate Sentinel or Hunter. Despite their very quote-unquote 'Omega-like' rank, they still have the same rights as the rest of the pack members, they just don't come first when it comes to assigning tasks or accessing big prey catches. If they die while in the Initiate status, there is still a funeral held in their honour, and they are given a full rank at the funeral, even if they never completed their training. Giving your life is the greatest sacrifice you could make to the packs.

─▷ TRAINEE ◁─
Young wolves who are 5-15 months old typically training to become a Sentinel or a Hunter, though they may be training to become an Archivist, Artisan, Carer, or Mender, if those of that rank decide they're open to training some young ones, and if there is a need for them. No pup is forced or pressured into any rank, and doing so is considered a violation of their rights. Trainees are trained by whoever decides to train them, but they often have a favourite teacher in particular who takes them under their wing. If no wolves train a trainee, the General will assign an educator to the trainee.

─▷ ATRIARCH ◁─
A Patriarch (masculine), Matriarch (feminine), or Atriarch (neutral) is a senior wolf over the age of 10 who has retired and now spends their time advising the Commander and the General, as well as helping out around the densite. Wolves aren't allowed to do nothing, so Atriarchs are still expected to help out to some extent. Atriarchs are allowed to join patrols, hunts, or herb gathering trips if they want to and are invited, of course, but they are not assigned to them.
Your wolf cannot retire to Atriarch just because they are disabled.

─▷ CARER ◁─
The pupsitters, more or less, and the nurses. Highly respected, Carers take care of the puppies and the atriarchs, but they also keep the dens spick and span and help out with other tasks if there are no pups around to care for. It's not looked down upon, but it is considered unusual, for a wolf to have puppies and raise them, as typically the wolves would have their pups, nurse them for the first few weeks, and then resume their duties, leaving their little ones in the care of their trusted and lovely Carers.

─▷ PUPS ◁─
New wolves from the age of 0 to 5 months old hanging around the densite under the care of the Carers, though some may start training as early as 4 months, and some may start as late as 6 months, it depends on how fast they grow! Pups are not allowed to leave the densite until they are 3 months old, in which they may explore under direct Carer supervision. It's important for the pups to see the outside world a few times before they rank up, so Carers are generally expected to take them out a couple times.
